Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lennart Carlsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Magne Högberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Spetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tibro BK's Samuel Bohlin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Vessigebro's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Bohlin came free, but Allan Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lennart Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibro BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Hafström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Lennart Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Allan Hafström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tibro BK. 23 minutes into the match, Tibro BK's Lennart Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Hafström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Samuel Bohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Carlsson in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Hafström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lennart Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tibro BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Carlsson couldn't finish the play. When Jimmie Löfgren fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vessigebro's protests and gave Jimmie Löfgren a yellow card for diving instead. Jimmie Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Allan Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Carlsson in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Roger Näfver made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Tibro BK's Lennart Carlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Allan Hafström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A hard shot 60 in the game by Samuel Bohlin from a close distance when the talented Allan Hafström managed to make a qualified save. Vessigebro's players were relieved. If Samuel Bohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Samuel Bohlin came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tibro BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Bohlin couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Lennart Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tibro BK and the Vessigebro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Tibro BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. If Magne Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Näfver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Arne Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Magne Högberg notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tibro BK's Arne Spetz. Arne Spetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Roger Näfver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Bohlin got free with Allan Hafström in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vessigebro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tibro BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
