Sigvard Hellsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Flinck having to interfere. Leo Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Otto Flinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kjell-Arne Wikander came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kungshamn FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell-Arne Wikander couldn't finish the play. Kungshamn FK's Otto Flinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Hellsing in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Kungshamn FK got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Rolfsson. Otto Flinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Sigvard Hellsing came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Paris Saint-Germain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigvard Hellsing couldn't finish the play. If Kjell-Arne Wikander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 48 minutes, Kjell-Arne Wikander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kungshamn FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Wikander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell-Arne Wikander was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kungshamn FK's Hubert Rolfsson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Thomas Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Henriksson having to interfere. Michel Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Wikander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint-Germain's Ingemar Ljungberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kjell-Arne Wikander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Leo Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Flinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 85 in the game by Sigvard Hellsing from a close distance when the talented Otto Flinck managed to make a qualified save. Kungshamn FK's players were relieved.
