Sture Andersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Persson went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Elias Stolpe kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Snäll in the 20th minute of play forced Fiffel FC's goalkeeper Göran Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, one of Juniorerna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sture Andersson had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Anders Lindström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 25th minute, Anders Lindström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sture Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Fiffel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Snäll came free, but Göran Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Andreas Vinström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juniorerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Vinström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sten Persson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Fiffel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Persson couldn't finish the play. After having played for 40 minutes, Fritz Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiffel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Fiffel FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sten Persson to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Juniorerna got a freekick which was hit by Pål Skager. Sture Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 78 played minutes Juniorerna got a freekick which was hit by Kent Uter. After a defensive mix-up in Juniorerna's zone, Eskil Kalfhage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Andersson came out of the goal and Eskil Kalfhage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Andersson having to interfere. Lars Wennerström charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Wennerström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juniorerna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Fiffel FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
