In the 5th minute, Ramvik's Helge Helander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Friberger. Herbert Friberger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Oliver Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Harlén scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arvin Wennerqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ramvik's zone, Rune Wallmark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Wennerqvist came out of the goal and Rune Wallmark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Elvendale's Herbert Friberger got control of the ball when Jarl Skog tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Herbert Friberger successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arvin Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Wallmark in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Per-Oskar Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Alf Odeen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Friberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Ingvar Harlén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elvendale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 43 minutes of play, Elvendale's Ingvar Harlén made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvin Wennerqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarl Skog hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alf Odeen to strike the kick off in the second half. Arvin Wennerqvist made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ingvar Harlén sent off a good shot on target. Ingvar Harlén struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Arvin Wennerqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elvendale. Ingvar Harlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Wallmark was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Ramvik's Alf Odeen got a free kick in the 68th minute. Herbert Friberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Odeen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Alf Odeen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Friberger. Elvendale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alf Odeen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Ralf Törnkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Wennerqvist having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Odeen in the 95th minute of play forced Elvendale's goalkeeper Herbert Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
