Ramvik's Arvin Wennerqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ramvik from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Elvendale's Rune Wallmark got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jarl Skog might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herbert Friberger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarl Skog ran back to his position shaking his head. Arvin Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Martinsson in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Odeen in the 42nd minute of play forced Elvendale's goalkeeper Herbert Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 44 minutes on the clock, Johan Deckberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 43rd minute, one of Elvendale:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elvendale. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Ramvik. Reine Zachrisson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Herbert Friberger. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingvar Harlén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Jarl Skog got a very nice opportunity to score, but Herbert Friberger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jarl Skog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Elvendale's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Helander came free, but Herbert Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramvik's Alf Odeen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Friberger. That made the score 0-3 after 61 minutes of play. Herbert Friberger made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Jarl Skog sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Elvendale getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rune Wallmark hit a great ball. Elvendale's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alf Odeen 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Ralf Törnkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralf Törnkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ralf Törnkvist hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Ingvar Harlén made a precise shot to the right of Arvin Wennerqvist. Ramvik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ingvar Harlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Wennerqvist having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Ingvar Harlén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramvik's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
