After 4 played minutes Pox got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Anundsson. Einar Kruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ivar Odman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einar Kruse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ivar Odman made a huge save. Pox's Ivar Odman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Kruse in the 8th minute of play. When Pedro Eron fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tärnsjö IF's protests and gave Pedro Eron a yellow card for diving instead. Ivar Odman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Einar Kruse in the 14th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Supreme Mosinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tärnsjö IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pox the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Pedro Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tärnsjö IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Odman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Odman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Eron, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tärnsjö IF's Börge Björnberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivar Odman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pox's Ivar Odman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Pox from getting a goal against them. Peter Stenkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Asserlindh having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Stenkvist in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calle Asserlindh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Filiph Gadd came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Pox fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiph Gadd couldn't finish the play. Börge Björnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börge Björnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Börge Björnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Max Berglund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calle Asserlindh skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, Pox's Filiph Gadd got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Einar Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Odman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Odman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Cane in the 65th minute of the match. When Peter Stenkvist fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ivar Odman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Tärnsjö IF's Einar Kruse in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pox's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Tärnsjö IF booed when Pox was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Giöck didn't get a good kick on the ball.
