The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esbjörn Thidén kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Crab People FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Bergfelt came free, but Sune Alstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crab People FC's Sune Alstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Bergström in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Jonny Häll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Vallman kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Cristo Berriotxoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jon Sigfridsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Bergfelt in the 20th minute of play forced Crab People FC's goalkeeper Sune Alstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mårten Bergström hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cristo Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jon Sigfridsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crab People FC's Sune Alstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Crab People FC from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Cristo Berriotxoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 33 minutes on the clock, Henry Falck commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Crab People FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Ljungsbro:s goal. Sune Alstedt didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Bergström got free with Sune Alstedt in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sune Alstedt made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Jarl Bergfelt sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Mårten Bergström made a precise shot to the right of Sune Alstedt. Crab People FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 46 minutes in the game Esbjörn Thidén did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tobias Vallman. After 47 played minutes BK Ljungsbro got a freekick which was hit by Mårten Bergström. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Ljungsbro's goalkeeper Jon Sigfridsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarl Bergfelt to make the kick off. Sune Alstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Bergfelt in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, BK Ljungsbro's Jarl Bergfelt made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sune Alstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarl Bergfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Alstedt having to interfere. BK Ljungsbro's Jarl Bergfelt got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esbjörn Thidén hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Crab People FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Bergfelt came free, but Sune Alstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Jarl Bergfelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sune Alstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Bergström in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Crab People FC got a freekick which was hit by Esbjörn Thidén. Kalle Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BK Ljungsbro booed when Crab People FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Vallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Crab People FC defense, Mårten Bergström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sune Alstedt. The Crab People FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sune Alstedt should have stopped the shot. Sune Alstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Bergfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes Crab People FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kalle Ekström who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Kalle Ekström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sune Alstedt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 86 minutes into the match, Crab People FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Alebeck came free, but Sune Alstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Crab People FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Bergström came free, but Sune Alstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BK Ljungsbro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
