Per-Olof Söderqwist was slow to take the kick. During this time FC HJÄLLBO's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of IFK Grimslöv booed when FC HJÄLLBO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sonny Bergqvist came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the IFK Grimslöv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sonny Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Jeferson Soteldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Wallman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC HJÄLLBO's Calle Wallman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC HJÄLLBO from getting a goal against them. Evert Möller came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC HJÄLLBO's Vidar Vikström. But to his dismay, Vidar Vikström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Vikström in the 36th minute of play forced IFK Grimslöv's goalkeeper Evert Möller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calle Wallman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Soteldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Möller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Vikström in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Olof Söderqwist made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Jeferson Soteldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Wallman was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeferson Soteldo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calle Wallman saved FC HJÄLLBO from getting behind.
