Ivar Odman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Enström, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sebastian Uggla charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Uggla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Sebastian Uggla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Uggla got free with Ivar Odman in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torbjörn Carlsson's late challenge caught a Pox's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Carlsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Slottsskogens IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Uggla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiph Gadd during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexander Brogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivar Odman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Uggla in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Olsson to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Sebastian Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Odman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiph Gadd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pelle Adelsköld read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Sebastian Uggla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Bedri Balısoy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivar Odman skillfully saved the ball. Pelle Adelsköld made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Peter Stenkvist sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Uggla struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ivar Odman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slottsskogens IK. 67 minutes into the match, Slottsskogens IK's goalkeeper Pelle Adelsköld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Stenkvist. Christer Duset struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Ivar Odman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slottsskogens IK. Pelle Adelsköld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, Pox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Fågel to maneuver through the defense. Pelle Adelsköld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Uggla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Odman was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Jan-Åke Dusett kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pox's Gabriel Olsson got a free kick in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Uggla in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Odman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Martin Berg put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Pox's Martin Berg got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 96 played minutes, Slottsskogens IK's Wictor Ekberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivar Odman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Slottsskogens IK reached it. There was no doubt that Slottsskogens IK were the better team. Slottsskogens IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
