BK Ljungsbro's Jon Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Berriotxoa in the 10th minute of play. When Gökçe Gültekin fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crab People FC's protests and gave Gökçe Gültekin a yellow card for diving instead. Jarl Bergfelt scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sune Alstedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Crab People FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Bergfelt came free, but Sune Alstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Berriotxoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Crab People FC's Jon Sigfridsson threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristo Berriotxoa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jon Sigfridsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Berriotxoa's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With an all-out effort, Crab People FC's Jon Sigfridsson threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristo Berriotxoa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sune Alstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarl Bergfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sune Alstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Henry Falck charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Falck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Crab People FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Henry Falck hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Berriotxoa was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Ljungsbro's goalkeeper Jon Sigfridsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Crab People FC were awarded a corner. Cristo Berriotxoa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Crab People FC's Cristo Berriotxoa to fire away a dangerous shot which Jon Sigfridsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 55 minutes, Orvar Wästerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Ljungsbro and the Crab People FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Orvar Wästerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BK Ljungsbro made a substitution. Aleksander Arenius replaced Orvar Wästerberg. Orvar Wästerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Jonny Häll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Jarl Bergfelt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sune Alstedt, 0-2. The supporters of Crab People FC booed when BK Ljungsbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Jonny Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crab People FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonny Häll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Jim Salkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crab People FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Ljungsbro the free kick. After a rather tough play, Crab People FC's Jim Salkvist got a free kick in the 66th minute. Crab People FC were furious when Gökçe Gültekin was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Crab People FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! 76 minutes into the match, Crab People FC's goalkeeper Sune Alstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarl Bergfelt. Jarl Bergfelt took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sune Alstedt. Sune Alstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jonny Häll's late challenge caught a BK Ljungsbro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonny Häll helped the player get up and apologised. 84 minutes into the match, Crab People FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Alebeck came free, but Sune Alstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Nils-Erik Alebeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarl Bergfelt came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sune Alstedt could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, BK Ljungsbro's Joacim Rang got a free kick in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Crab People FC's Sune Alstedt got control of the ball when Jarl Bergfelt tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded BK Ljungsbro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Crab People FC.
