In the 5th minute, Börge Björnberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tärnsjö IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Slottsskogens IK's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Eron came free, but Pelle Adelsköld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Slottsskogens IK booed when Tärnsjö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börge Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Slottsskogens IK's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Eron came free, but Pelle Adelsköld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bartlomiej Zywiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelle Adelsköld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Eron in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Stig-Arne Cane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Tärnsjö IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Einar Kruse to strike the kick off in the second half. Slottsskogens IK's Pelle Adelsköld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Slottsskogens IK from getting a goal against them. Pelle Adelsköld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Einar Kruse in the 59th minute. Pelle Adelsköld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Eron in the 60th minute of play. When Tärnsjö IF's Pedro Eron, in the 60th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. Pelle Adelsköld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Arne Cane in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Wictor Ekberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Calle Asserlindh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Slottsskogens IK's Pelle Adelsköld got control of the ball when Einar Kruse tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Stig-Arne Cane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pelle Adelsköld. The goal made the score 1-2. Tärnsjö IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
