Spectators: 7572 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sven-Edvin Samuelsson got the match started through his kick off. Philip Grönberg made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Christer Johansson sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Grytöl's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Löfkvist came free, but Pär Asklöv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Jakob Löfkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grytöl's Pär Asklöv was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Gert Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Christer Johansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Fotboll Kickers getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Erling Strömbom hit a great ball. If Christer Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Löfkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvald Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erling Strömbom during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erling Strömbom kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grytöl's Christer Johansson got a free kick in the 35th minute. Erling Strömbom scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pär Asklöv, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 56th match minute, Fotboll Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Kihlberg to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Grytöl got a freekick which was hit by Tor Markusson. In the 60th minute, Jakob Löfkvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pär Asklöv, passed just outside the right post. In the 70th minute Sven-Edvin Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Josefsson during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Richard Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes, Fotboll Kickers's Osvald Åkesson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pär Asklöv came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fotboll Kickers reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Löfkvist in the 78th minute of play forced Grytöl's goalkeeper Pär Asklöv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Löfkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Jakob Löfkvist put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pär Asklöv. Philip Grönberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Sven-Edvin Samuelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
