The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Frans Bure in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Karlsborg's Edvard Magnusson. Dan Östlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Dan Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Magnusson in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match, Anton Stenman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dan Östlund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 13th minute, Joel Classon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Stenman in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Joel Classon took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Östlund. Dan Östlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dan Östlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edvard Magnusson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. Edvard Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dan Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anton Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Joel Classon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dan Östlund, 4-0. Edvard Magnusson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Dan Östlund made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Classon made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Karlsborg were awarded a corner. Thor Sjöberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Karlsborg's corner Thor Sjöberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dan Östlund quite easily take care of the ball. Anton Stenman struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dan Östlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karlsborg. Anton Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 67 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Anton Stenman. 70 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Lange came free, but Egil Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Juoksengi RK booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Anton Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karlsborg's Lars Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 77th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Edvard Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlsborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvard Magnusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karlsborg's Egil Fagrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Karlsborg from getting a goal against them. Egil Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egil Fagrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Eliasson's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Edvard Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dan Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Karlsborg had won after a very even match.
