In the 4thth minute of the game Verner Ödmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hildekings FC's Hannes Alegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hannes Alegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Ödmann in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, VS Åby's Alex Ek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannes Alegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. VS Åby's Henric Åman got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Verner Ödmann in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannes Alegren saved Hildekings FC from getting behind. After 17 minutes, Reine Holm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VS Åby and the Hildekings FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, VS Åby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Holm to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Verner Ödmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Alegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hildekings FC booed when VS Åby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hildekings FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Tøndborg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Sven-Ove Åström hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, VS Åby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Fahlgren to maneuver through the defense. Elliott Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Elliott Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hildekings FC.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hannes Alegren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Verner Ödmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hannes Alegren. Hildekings FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Verner Ödmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
