After the first half Oljerikets gubbar IF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulf Ferm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evert Markusson hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Douglas Palmquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hannes Alegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hannes Alegren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oliver Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Haeger in the 90th minute of play.
