Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 40) Gullholmen's Oscar Persson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Andreas Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim Hydén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gullholmen's Joacim Hydén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Hellgren in the 5th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Gullholmen got a freekick which was hit by Per Jakobsson. 16 minutes into the match, Gullholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Colin came free, but Joacim Hydén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Hydén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Hellgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Joacim Hydén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Lundqvist in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Gullholmen defense, Andreas Lundqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joacim Hydén. The Gullholmen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joacim Hydén should have stopped the shot. Staffan Billberg kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Andreas Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bengt-Åke Kilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lovikka getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Stig Skog hit a great ball. Rune Högman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. If Kristoffer Bivall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Andreas Lundqvist made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Andreas Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lovikka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Lundqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes Gullholmen got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Samuelsson. In the 54th minute, Emil Lövskog fired a really elegant long shot, but Joacim Hydén threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Gullholmen's Stig-Åke Bammerman got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Lovikka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Hellgren to maneuver through the defense. Lovikka's Rune Högman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Samuelsson in the 61st minute of play. Rune Högman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Oscar Persson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Högman. Lovikka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Persson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Valter Wallander fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lovikka's protests and gave Valter Wallander a yellow card for diving instead. Valter Wallander hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Oscar Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Gullholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Kilberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Stig-Åke Bammerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Högman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Oscar Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rune Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Gullholmen's Joacim Hydén got control of the ball when Olof Colin tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gullholmen had played much better football throughout.
