The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Lövskog during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lovikka getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Emil Lövskog hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Lovikka got a freekick which was hit by Johan Tingberg. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jonathan Billström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jukkasjärvi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Billström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Högman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Torsten Haeger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Högman was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Jonathan Billström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Jukkasjärvi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 15th minute, Jukkasjärvi's Torsten Haeger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rune Högman. Rune Högman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Jukkasjärvi getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kasper Felin hit a great ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lovikka's goalkeeper Rune Högman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jukkasjärvi's goalkeeper Jack Rudkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rune Högman made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jonathan Billström sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Lovikka's goalkeeper Rune Högman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Billström. Rune Högman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Haeger in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Lovikka's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Haeger came free, but Rune Högman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jukkasjärvi's Torsten Haeger in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torsten Haeger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rune Högman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Billström, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rune Högman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Billström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Torsten Haeger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jukkasjärvi and the Lovikka players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jukkasjärvi's Torsten Haeger got a free kick in the 55th minute. Peter Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Karl-Michael Alfors sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lovikka's Rune Högman didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Jukkasjärvi's Jimmy Soned got a free kick in the 64th minute. Olof Colin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Rudkvist was a little too slow when Andreas Lundqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-1. Rune Högman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Billström, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Peter Hellgren hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Torsten Haeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Jukkasjärvi booed when Lovikka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Billström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rune Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lovikka's Johan Tingberg got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Haeger in the 95th minute of play forced Lovikka's goalkeeper Rune Högman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jukkasjärvi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lovikka had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
