Vilgot Lindman might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Bergendahl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilgot Lindman ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Patrik Bergendahl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. IF Karlstad Fotboll's Sixten Asserlindh got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, IF Karlstad Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Kock came free, but Manfred Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Friberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Manfred Ekström came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Hällefors's Rune Kock. But to his dismay, Rune Kock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vilgot Lindman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Bergendahl having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sixten Asserlindh managed to get in a good position for a shot. IF Karlstad Fotboll's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Asserlindh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Bergendahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Hällefors got a freekick which was hit by David Vikström. After a defensive mix-up in Hällefors's zone, Lukas Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Bergendahl came out of the goal and Lukas Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfred Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Örtlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Bergendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixten Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Anthon Beckman's late challenge caught a Hällefors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthon Beckman kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, IF Karlstad Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Örtlund came free, but Manfred Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IF Karlstad Fotboll's Manfred Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save IF Karlstad Fotboll from getting a goal against them. In the 71st match minute, IF Karlstad Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Hylander to maneuver through the defense. Anthon Beckman kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Gösta Dalgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällefors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Dalgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manfred Ekström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lukas Örtlund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. The supporters of IF Karlstad Fotboll booed when Hällefors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Kock didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lukas Örtlund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manfred Ekström. That made the score 1-4 in the 81 minute of play. Lukas Berggren struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Patrik Bergendahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IF Karlstad Fotboll. David Vikström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manfred Ekström came out and tried to block the shot, but David Vikström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Anthon Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfred Ekström made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gösta Dalgren sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, IF Karlstad Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when David Vikström came free, but Manfred Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
