King John made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Anton Löfskog sent off a good shot on target. Harry Pihl might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over King John. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry Pihl ran back to his position shaking his head. When Harry Pihl fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ellieton Football Club's protests and gave Harry Pihl a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ellieton Football Club getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Harry Pihl hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ellieton Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Lundgren came free, but Valter Haeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Ellieton Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Månsson. Valter Haeger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell-Arne Lundgren's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Kjell-Arne Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. King Matte kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Kjell-Arne Lundgren took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valter Haeger. Valter Haeger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Valter Haeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Lundgren in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Harry Pihl made the kick off in the second half. Kjell-Arne Lundgren did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Valter Haeger 51 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Ellieton Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Månsson to maneuver through the defense. Martin Forsell kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Kjell-Arne Lundgren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. King Goa came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valter Haeger could save by the left post. Kjell-Arne Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Valter Haeger made a huge save. Anton Löfskog blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without King John having to make a save. 80 minutes in the game, Kjell-Arne Lundgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valter Haeger having to interfere. Harry Pihl kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. King John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Löfskog in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Harlén in the 90th minute of play forced Rydsnäs IF's goalkeeper King John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Tomas Harlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but King John saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Pihl hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Kjell-Arne Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valter Haeger was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Rydsnäs IF's Kjell-Arne Lundgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valter Haeger narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
