Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jesper Sandberg started the match with the kick off. Christopher Simonsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Karl-Axel Skytt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Karl-Axel Skytt made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Åke Uggstedt sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulf Alin got free with Karl-Axel Skytt in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moheda's Marc Boström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Karl-Axel Skytt but with some difficulty. Moheda's Calle Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Kalfhage in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Ted Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elden Ringers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Bergsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calle Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Ulf Alin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Ulf Alin could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Karl-Axel Skytt however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ola Kollberg during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Elden Ringers getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jens-Ola Kollberg hit a great ball. Moheda's Calle Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Kalfhage in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Emil Eliasson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Elden Ringers's Mårten Nyberg got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Elden Ringers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. The Moheda fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Moheda's Ulf Alin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 72 played minutes Elden Ringers got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Eliasson. After a rather tough play, Moheda's Jesper Sandberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Alin in the 82nd minute of play forced Elden Ringers's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Skytt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Elden Ringers's Mårten Nyberg got a free kick in the 91st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Moheda's Karl-Axel Ersman tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nils-Emil Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
