Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Harald Säf got the match started through his kick off. Stefan Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Kjell Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Säf in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valter Helander got free with Kjell Berggren in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Valkyria BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Forssell came free, but Ivar Rolfsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Valter Helander could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Kjell Berggren however easily saved by the left post. In the 22nd minute, Valter Helander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valkyria BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Valkyria BK's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Törnkvist came free, but Ivar Rolfsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes, Valter Helander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valkyria BK and the Rottne IF Fotboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kurt Hegg during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Valkyria BK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Christer Sundström hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Rottne IF Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Billy Westerberg. In the 41st minute Göran Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göran Törnkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Mikael Forssell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivar Rolfsson. Mikael Forssell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The supporters of Valkyria BK booed when Rottne IF Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Arne Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Valkyria BK's Valter Helander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Berggren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikael Forssell's late challenge caught a Valkyria BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Forssell helped the player get up and apologised. Mikael Forssell hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Mikael Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Rolfsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mikael Forssell came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Rottne IF Fotboll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Forssell couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the game, John Käller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kjell Berggren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Valkyria BK had played much better football throughout.
