An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Bållström in the 24th minute of play forced Vendelsömalms FC's goalkeeper Elliott Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vendelsömalms FC booed when Skillingaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edvin Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvin Åberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arman Alebäck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Elliott Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Holmgren in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Vendelsömalms FC's Edvin Åberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arman Alebäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Forsberg in the 38th minute of play forced Vendelsömalms FC's goalkeeper Elliott Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliott Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Göran Holmgren made the kick off in the second half. Elliott Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Holmgren in the 68th minute of the match. When Gabriel Forsberg fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skillingaryd's protests and gave Gabriel Forsberg a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Forsberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Rasmus Söderberg hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes Skillingaryd got a freekick which was hit by Roland Bållström. Arman Alebäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elliott Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 80 minutes of play Skillingaryd's Gabriel Forsberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gabriel Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Edvin Åberg struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Arman Alebäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vendelsömalms FC. Skillingaryd's Arman Alebäck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Skillingaryd succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Vendelsömalms FC had controlled the match.
