In the 45th minute Andy Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Brodin to make the kick off. With 51 minutes on the clock, Peter Petersson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 51st minute, one of FC Spurs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Spurs. The supporters of FC Spurs booed when Norrahammar IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joacim Njurenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Orvar Hedvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, FC Spurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the FC Spurs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
