Fredrik Olsmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Brodin in the 5th minute. Fredrik Olsmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Ekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Virsbo IF's Fredrik Olsmann got control of the ball when Edmund Brodin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Tham charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Tham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Virsbo IF's Arvid Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronny Valrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vito Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edmund Brodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredrik Olsmann was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Vito Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Valrot in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Brodin in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredrik Olsmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, FC Spurs's Henry Käcker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredrik Olsmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vito Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Valrot in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Edmund Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Olsmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, FC Spurs's Henry Käcker made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredrik Olsmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Bertil Ekman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fredrik Olsmann. The goal made the score 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmund Brodin was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Edmund Brodin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Olsmann. Virsbo IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Brodin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 55 minutes into the match, Bertil Ekman notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Virsbo IF's Fredrik Olsmann. Fredrik Olsmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Olof Holmberg during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vilgot Grönberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Virsbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Käcker came free, but Fredrik Olsmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Henry Käcker made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Olsmann. Virsbo IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Fredrik Olsmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Backman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Edmund Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Olsmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Olsmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Ekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Käcker in the 78th minute of play forced Virsbo IF's goalkeeper Fredrik Olsmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Backman kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Christer Stor hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Virsbo IF's Arvid Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Virsbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Brodin came free, but Fredrik Olsmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertil Ekman scored 6-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Olsmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Virsbo IF's Fredrik Olsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Grönberg in the 88th minute of play. Bertil Ekman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Bertil Ekman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Spurs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There was no doubt that FC Spurs were the better team. FC Spurs's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
