In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Täfteå BF's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertil Ekman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes FC Spurs got a freekick which was hit by Karl Olofsson. After 15 played minutes Täfteå BF got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Berggren. Edmund Brodin might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Brodin ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Täfteå BF's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Brodin. When Wictor Wennerberg came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Täfteå BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wictor Wennerberg couldn't finish the play. Wictor Wennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Peter Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Spurs booed when Täfteå BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Hylander didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, FC Spurs's Edmund Brodin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jonas Hylander fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Täfteå BF's protests and gave Jonas Hylander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute of the match, Bertil Ekman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Christer Stor kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Brodin in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Vilgot Grönberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt. Täfteå BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vilgot Grönberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

When Edmund Brodin came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Spurs fans jumped to their feet. When Vilgot Grönberg came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Spurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilgot Grönberg couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Brodin in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henry Käcker struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Spurs. Vito Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Wennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Ekman in the 82nd minute of play forced Täfteå BF's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Spurs's Edmund Brodin in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Täfteå BF's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Täfteå BF's zone, Henry Käcker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Henry Käcker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Brodin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FC Spurs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
