Spectators: 7428 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 100) When Edmund Brodin came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the FC Spurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Brodin couldn't finish the play. Edmund Brodin was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Spurs's players had a chance to rest. FC Spurs's Edmund Brodin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven-Olof Sandberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Robin Söderström kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Sven-Olof Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Brodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Brodin in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Sandberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Edmund Brodin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Olof Sandberg was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pontus Svartengren during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Spurs booed when Torekov FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Svartengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Torekov FF's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Brodin came free, but Sven-Olof Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Torekov FF's zone, Edmund Brodin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Sandberg came out of the goal and Edmund Brodin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sverker Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Brodin in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match FC Spurs got a corner. Torekov FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmund Brodin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torekov FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FC Spurs a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmund Brodin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Torekov FF's Sven-Olof Sandberg. 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sture Caspersson made a kick off. Bertil Ekman scored 0-4 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Sandberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Sture Caspersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Spurs getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Christer Stor hit a great ball. Edmund Brodin might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Olof Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Brodin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, FC Spurs's Sverker Termander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Olof Sandberg. Sven-Olof Sandberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Vilgot Grönberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sven-Olof Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Spurs's Edmund Brodin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Brodin in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Olof Sandberg saved Torekov FF from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Bertil Ekman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Sven-Olof Sandberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christer Stor in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Olof Sandberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sven-Olof Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Ekman in the 86th minute of the match. Edmund Brodin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Sven-Olof Sandberg 88 minutes into the match. Sven-Olof Sandberg made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Edmund Brodin sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Sture Caspersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match FC Spurs got a corner. Torekov FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmund Brodin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Spurs's Edmund Brodin to fire away a dangerous shot which Sven-Olof Sandberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sture Caspersson during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle sounded FC Spurs left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Torekov FF.
