Grundsund RK's Nils Vennerlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Grundsund RK from getting a goal against them. After 21 minutes of play, Grundsund RK's Magnus Ahlbom made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Olofsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Magnus Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Winterfell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Holm came free, but Patrik Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Winterfell FC got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Larsfält. The supporters of Winterfell FC booed when Grundsund RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Ahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grundsund RK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Winterfell FC's much stronger midfield.
