Krut i Dojjan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Mellin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, UÅ Mästerbotten's Sune Gustafsson got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match Armando de Medeiros climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Thomas Wennerberg. Thomas Wennerberg was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Lars-Erik Rolfsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars-Erik Rolfsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some careless play in the Krut i Dojjan defense, Karl-Michael Kilström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Huey Paterson. The Krut i Dojjan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Huey Paterson should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Mellin in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Wennerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Mellin hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Mellin came free, but Thomas Wennerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tim Mellin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krut i Dojjan's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Mellin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Wennerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Armando de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Ragnar Ekström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Krut i Dojjan's Mikael Malmström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Sven Strandberg in the 39th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Thomas Wennerberg kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Per Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Huey Paterson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UÅ Mästerbotten's Thomas Wennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Strandberg in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Blanck was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Tim Mellin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Wennerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Mellin in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Krut i Dojjan's Armando de Medeiros got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Karl-Michael Kilström kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thomas Wennerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Mellin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Krut i Dojjan booed when UÅ Mästerbotten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Kilström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes, Jan-Olof Stålberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krut i Dojjan and the UÅ Mästerbotten players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Krut i Dojjan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Stålberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in UÅ Mästerbotten's zone, Tim Mellin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Wennerberg came out of the goal and Tim Mellin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Mellin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Wennerberg having to interfere. UÅ Mästerbotten's Thomas Wennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando de Medeiros in the 89th minute of play. Krut i Dojjan's Sven Strandberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vilgot Knutsson in the 93 minute of the game. There was no doubt that Krut i Dojjan were the better team. Krut i Dojjan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
