Lars-Erik Rolfsson hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Tim Mellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mårten Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Elias Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando de Medeiros scored 1-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mårten Lundström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huey Paterson having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Krut i Dojjan's Tim Mellin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mårten Lundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Krut i Dojjan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stensele IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
