Max Söderberg scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Wennerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kurt Boman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Söderberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Thomas Wennerberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sune Gustafsson during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to UÅ Mästerbotten getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sune Gustafsson hit a great ball. If Max Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Max Söderberg sped through UÅ Mästerbotten's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Wennerberg. When Stensele IK's Max Söderberg in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. Thomas Wennerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Söderberg in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Max Söderberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Thomas Wennerberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Max Söderberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Wennerberg was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Söderberg in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Wennerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. UÅ Mästerbotten's Thomas Wennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Söderberg in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Stensele IK booed when UÅ Mästerbotten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stensele IK made a substitution. Hans Gunnarsson replaced Jan Jakobsson. Ragnar Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Hans Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the UÅ Mästerbotten defense, Max Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Wennerberg. The UÅ Mästerbotten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Wennerberg should have stopped the shot. Max Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Wennerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Stensele IK's August Ingemarsson was substituted for Alfred Pettersson. With 94 minutes on the clock, Rutger Nyberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the referee ended the match the Stensele IK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
