Reine Bruhn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthias Jakobsson went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Peder Jönsson had several of the Klövedal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Vilhelm Bengtsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Klövedal getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Michel Nyman hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, Klövedal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Glad to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Nyberg hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, NK Podgrmec's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Jakobsson came free, but Reine Bruhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, NK Podgrmec's Jonny Kihlberg got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes, Klövedal's Ulf Nyström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reine Bruhn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Klövedal reached it. A collision led to Klövedal getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Michel Nyman hit a great ball. Karl-Oskar Örn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilhelm Bengtsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Oskar Örn slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 23rd minute. A collision led to NK Podgrmec getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dan Säfström hit a great ball. Jonny Kihlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Sven-Ove Örtendahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reine Bruhn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Matthias Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Reine Bruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reine Bruhn came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Klövedal's Sven-Ove Örtendahl. But to his dismay, Sven-Ove Örtendahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Matthias Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Klövedal's zone, Peder Jönsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilhelm Bengtsson came out of the goal and Peder Jönsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Oskar Örn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilhelm Bengtsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Oskar Örn slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Oskar Örn to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Alexander Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Larsson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Vilhelm Bengtsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Podgrmec. NK Podgrmec's Reine Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Örtendahl in the 60th minute of play. Vilhelm Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Örtendahl in the 64th minute of play forced NK Podgrmec's goalkeeper Reine Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Klövedal's Herman Hagberg got a free kick in the 65th minute. Peder Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Jakobsson got free with Reine Bruhn in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 3-3 became the score in the 71st minute when Sven-Ove Örtendahl elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dan Säfström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Bengtsson having to interfere. If Sven-Ove Örtendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
