Frank Kvick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Nyberg in the 4th minute. Alexander Nyberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Frank Kvick made a huge save. In the 6th minute of the match NK Podgrmec got a corner. Taraps IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexander Nyberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alexander Nyberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frank Kvick quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 8 minutes into the game, Taraps IF's Sebastian Öberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reine Bruhn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Reine Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Jansson in the 11th minute of play. Sebastian Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Frank Kvick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, NK Podgrmec's Alexander Nyberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Kvick was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Taraps IF's Frank Kvick got control of the ball when Alexander Nyberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th match minute, NK Podgrmec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Öberg to maneuver through the defense. Reine Bruhn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Åke Söderström went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 41 played minutes NK Podgrmec got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Wallin. Taraps IF's Stig-Åke Söderström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for NK Podgrmec. Karl-Oskar Örn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Oskar Örn was the one to do the kick off. The Taraps IF fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Taraps IF's Stig-Åke Söderström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Taraps IF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Stellan Jansson hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Stig-Åke Söderström put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Reine Bruhn. With his leg Reine Bruhn managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Taraps IF's Stig-Åke Söderström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Per-Åke Carlberg's late challenge caught a Taraps IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Åke Carlberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Taraps IF booed when NK Podgrmec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Carlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Taraps IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Sebastian Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Alexander Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Kvick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Åke Söderström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Reine Bruhn made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Taraps IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
