Osvald Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Orain in the 3rd minute of play. Fabian Alkvist hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Stig Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Snäll in the 15th minute of play forced Fristad's goalkeeper Osvald Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Tunberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvald Lindberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulf Tunberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Fristad's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ulf Tunberg 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 22 played minutes Fristad got a freekick which was hit by Simon Ekeberg. Teodoro Orain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teodoro Orain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvald Lindberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When Tom Björnsson came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Fristad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Björnsson couldn't finish the play. Stig Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Linus Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Stig Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Håning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Fristad's zone, Ulf Tunberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvald Lindberg came out of the goal and Ulf Tunberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ulf Tunberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Fristad's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Tunberg came free, but Osvald Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Ante AIK's Stig Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Håning in the 63rd minute of play. Ante AIK's Ulf Tunberg got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Tunberg in the 68th minute of play forced Fristad's goalkeeper Osvald Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Fristad got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Tunberg. Osvald Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Tunberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Fristad's Patrik Håning ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stig Linberg. Stig Linberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Stig Linberg made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Patrik Håning sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute Patrik Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Linberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Björnsson in the 83rd minute. Osvald Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Tunberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Fristad's Sven-Ove Tunberg got a free kick in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Patrik Håning kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stig Linberg. That made the score 2-2 in the 94 minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
