The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ante AIK's Ulf Tunberg got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Birger Ahlqvist fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mighty Kites FC's protests and gave Birger Ahlqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Birger Ahlqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Birger Ahlqvist hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ante AIK's Kenny Snäll slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Börje Holmgren. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. In the 22nd minute Olof Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Orain came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Börje Holmgren could save by the left post. Börje Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Tunberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Ulf Tunberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mighty Kites FC's Börje Holmgren did a great save. Christopher Persson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Börje Holmgren 27 minutes into the match. Börje Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Tunberg in the 33rd minute of play. Mighty Kites FC's Börje Holmgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mighty Kites FC from getting a goal against them. Ulf Tunberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mighty Kites FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Reine Tinglöf hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Teodoro Orain got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sonny Samuelsson made a kick off. When Sonny Samuelsson fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mighty Kites FC's protests and gave Sonny Samuelsson a yellow card for diving instead. Sonny Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Xantalen Balcells hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Sonny Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ante AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Sven-Edvin Sellberg scored to the left of an out of position Stig Linberg, making the score, 2-1. Börje Holmgren came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ante AIK's Ulf Tunberg. But to his dismay, Ulf Tunberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 72 minutes into the game, Sonny Samuelsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stig Linberg. Sonny Samuelsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Börje Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Orain, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ulf Tunberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Börje Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mighty Kites FC's Birger Ahlqvist got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Xantalen Balcells hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Mighty Kites FC's Reine Tinglöf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Linberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Xantalen Balcells fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ante AIK's protests and gave Xantalen Balcells a yellow card for diving instead. Xantalen Balcells hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Stig Linberg was a little too slow when Jonny Arvidsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 3-3. Despite being the better team, Ante AIK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
