But to his dismay, Isaac Christoffersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Busby Babes's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Christoffersson came free, but Edward Söderlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Christoffersson in the 10th minute of play forced Busby Babes's goalkeeper Edward Söderlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Christer Lindström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asarums Gois fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Isaac Christoffersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Edward Söderlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Johnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olof Kullander in the 27th minute. Edward Söderlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Lindström went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Edward Söderlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armin Quercia went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Olof Kullander might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olof Kullander ran back to his position shaking his head. Edward Söderlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Quercia, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Edward Söderlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Quercia in the 40th minute of the match. Edward Söderlund came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Asarums Gois's Christer Lindström. But to his dismay, Christer Lindström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Olof Kullander came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richard Johnsson could save by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Isaac Christoffersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Söderlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Christoffersson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edward Söderlund came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaac Christoffersson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Christer Lindström made a precise shot to the right of Edward Söderlund. Busby Babes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. 66 minutes into the match, Busby Babes's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Tunander came free, but Edward Söderlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-11 became the score in the 68th minute when Christer Lindström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Isaac Christoffersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edward Söderlund. Isaac Christoffersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Asarums Gois's Armin Quercia got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Edward Söderlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Ahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Söderlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armin Quercia's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armin Quercia during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Armin Quercia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Isaac Christoffersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christer Thedin's late challenge caught a Asarums Gois's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Thedin helped the player get up and apologised. Armin Quercia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Söderlund having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Asarums Gois left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Busby Babes.
