Spectators: 7568 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 100) Hans Vallgren made the kick off and thus started the match. When Olof Kullander fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Busby Babes's protests and gave Olof Kullander a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 minutes, Tim Algren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Råda and the Busby Babes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Busby Babes fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Busby Babes's Erland Ahlgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Råda's Herman Beckman has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute Hans Vallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Söderlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Nilsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torbjörn Arenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Tommy Tunberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Råda got a freekick which was hit by Tim Algren. 35 minutes into the game, Busby Babes's Olof Kullander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torbjörn Arenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Ahlgren in the 38th minute of play forced Råda's goalkeeper Torbjörn Arenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Olof Kullander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Busby Babes's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Kullander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Arenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torbjörn Arenberg came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Busby Babes's Olof Kullander. But to his dismay, Olof Kullander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Torbjörn Arenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Kullander in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olof Kullander made a kick off. A collision led to Råda getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Herman Beckman hit a great ball. Edward Söderlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Vallgren in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Råda booed when Busby Babes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Thedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olof Kullander struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Torbjörn Arenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Busby Babes. 74 minutes into the game, John Beckman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Busby Babes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Råda the free kick. John Beckman hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Erland Ahlgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Råda's Torbjörn Arenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olof Kullander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torbjörn Arenberg having to make a save. The supporters of Råda booed when Busby Babes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Dalgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Erland Ahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
