Bernt Bäcklin scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Rudkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Villiam Siöman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tytus Cichocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Lindberg during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Värnamo RK booed when Hyssna IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Rudkvist having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Sebastian Snell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hyssna IK and the Värnamo RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Snell hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Zebastian Gråberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zebastian Gråberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Andersson in the 31st minute of play forced Hyssna IK's goalkeeper Alexander Rudkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elof Fanström kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Sebastian Snell kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Tobias Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tytus Cichocki having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Hyssna IK got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Siöman. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Nilsson during the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hyssna IK's zone, Benjamin Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Rudkvist came out of the goal and Benjamin Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Värnamo RK booed when Hyssna IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hyssna IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Värnamo RK were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Tobias Lindberg made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Värnamo RK defense, Villiam Siöman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tytus Cichocki. The Värnamo RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tytus Cichocki should have stopped the shot. Tytus Cichocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Jonasson in the 64th minute of the match. Benjamin Andersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Alexander Rudkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Värnamo RK's Benjamin Andersson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Radowit Huk struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Alexander Rudkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Värnamo RK. 85 minutes into the game, Sebastian Snell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Tytus Cichocki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Hyssna IK booed when Värnamo RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Fanström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tytus Cichocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Zebastian Gråberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Hyssna IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Värnamo RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
