The referee showed Rune Adelsköld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fritsla getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rune Adelsköld hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Fritsla's goalkeeper Allan Bäck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henning Nordstedt. Rune Adelsköld scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josef Johansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Damm in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josef Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henning Nordstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Allan Bäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Damm in the 23rd minute of play forced Slingan BK's goalkeeper Josef Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Bror Bokelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slingan BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fritsla the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Slingan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Bokelund to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Axel Damm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fritsla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sten Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Johansson having to interfere. Josef Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Damm in the 35th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Sten Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Josef Johansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henning Nordstedt was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Jan-Olof Bergsten fired a really elegant long shot, but Josef Johansson threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Fritsla's zone, Henning Nordstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Bäck came out of the goal and Henning Nordstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josef Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Damm in the 60th minute of play. A hard shot 63 in the game by Sten Eriksson from a close distance when the talented Josef Johansson managed to make a qualified save. Slingan BK's players were relieved. Oscar Wikander succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 66th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Eriksson got free with Josef Johansson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Damm in the 72nd minute of play forced Slingan BK's goalkeeper Josef Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Henning Nordstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slingan BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Nordstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josef Johansson came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Fritsla's Sten Eriksson. But to his dismay, Sten Eriksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. During the 91st minute of the match Rune Adelsköld completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rune Adelsköld a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Fritsla's Rune Adelsköld got a free kick in the 91st minute. Slingan BK's Henning Nordstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Fritsla players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
