The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sverker Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Eriksson in the 3rd minute of play. In the 8th minute, Sten Eriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fritsla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Allan Bäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Sverker Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Damm in the 15th minute of the match. Axel Damm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sverker Åkesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Sverker Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes, Bernt Henriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunkeflostrand and the Fritsla players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Bernt Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Damm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Åkesson having to interfere. Henning Björk charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henning Björk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Bunkeflostrand got a freekick which was hit by Henning Björk. After 25 played minutes Fritsla got a freekick which was hit by Sten Eriksson. Axel Damm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bunkeflostrand's zone, Axel Damm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Åkesson came out of the goal and Axel Damm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the game, Sten Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sverker Åkesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Oscar Wikander fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fritsla's protests and gave Oscar Wikander a yellow card for diving instead. If Josef Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sverker Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Damm in the 43rd minute of play. The Bunkeflostrand players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fritsla were winning 1-2.

Allan Bäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Sten Eriksson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Fritsla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Eriksson couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, Bunkeflostrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Tingberg to maneuver through the defense. Axel Damm took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Åkesson. Sverker Åkesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Alvar Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Bäck having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Björk in the 71st minute of play forced Fritsla's goalkeeper Allan Bäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dick Petersson fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fritsla's protests and gave Dick Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bunkeflostrand booed when Fritsla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Bunkeflostrand's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Damm came free, but Sverker Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Axel Damm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Damm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Åkesson having to interfere. Sten Eriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Sverker Åkesson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sten Eriksson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Sverker Åkesson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sverker Åkesson came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Fritsla's Sten Eriksson. But to his dismay, Sten Eriksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience was convinced that Josef Björk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Bäck was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Axel Damm might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverker Åkesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Damm ran back to his position shaking his head. Fritsla's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
