Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 150) Södra Förorter FC's Jörgen Örnberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tor Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 3 minutes, Kent Finman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Södra Förorter FC and the Nygård FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 9 minutes, Douglas Modig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nygård FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Modig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Tor Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 12th minute of the match Kent Finman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kent Finman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Södra Förorter FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kent Finman hit a great ball. Jörgen Örnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ömer Halisdemir having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Nygård FK's Douglas Modig dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Douglas Modig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nygård FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Douglas Modig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nygård FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Modig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tor Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Blom in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Södra Förorter FC's goalkeeper Folke Åhlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Modig. Tor Blom had several of the Södra Förorter FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Folke Åhlberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 38th minute, Tor Blom made a precise shot to the right of Folke Åhlberg. Södra Förorter FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas Modig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tor Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nygård FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Blom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Åhlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Simonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Folke Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Tor Blom notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Södra Förorter FC's Folke Åhlberg. Folke Åhlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Blom in the 59th minute of play forced Södra Förorter FC's goalkeeper Folke Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Blom scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Åhlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerry Tunström hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Douglas Modig sped through Södra Förorter FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Folke Åhlberg. Nygård FK's Bengt Larsson was substituted for Douglas Modig. Tor Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Åhlberg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Södra Förorter FC's zone, Bengt Larsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Åhlberg came out of the goal and Bengt Larsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Thomas Hermansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nygård FK and the Södra Förorter FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nygård FK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Thomas Hermansson hit a great ball. Tor Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the game, Bengt Larsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Folke Åhlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Tor Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Södra Förorter FC's Folke Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Larsson in the 95th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bengt Larsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folke Åhlberg was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
