In the 34th minute Sten Sundling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nusnäs IK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Börje Ekström hit a great ball. Martial Ducreux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. The referee ignored Bruket IF's protests and gave Emanuel Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nusnäs IK booed when Bruket IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agne Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Bruket IF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Bergqvist made a kick off.
