Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wiktor Fernström kicked off to start the match. Jarl Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Axelsson having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Die Flussee Haie got a freekick which was hit by Börge Sundling. 9 minutes into the match, Nils Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ola Alebom. Die Flussee Haie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Melker Jelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Manfred Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Leif Björnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ola Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Die Flussee Haie's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Qvarnström came free, but Ola Alebom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nerd FC's Manfred Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Jelm in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Melker Jelm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfred Axelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Nerd FC's Nils Fredriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ola Alebom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Wiktor Fernström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Wilhelm Haglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Manfred Axelsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Nerd FC's zone, Melker Jelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Axelsson came out of the goal and Melker Jelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Nerd FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Fredriksson to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Die Flussee Haie got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Lind. After having played for 56 minutes, Wiktor Fernström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Die Flussee Haie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiktor Fernström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Qvarnström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ola Alebom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Fred Karlsson lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 64th match minute, Die Flussee Haie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Karlsson to maneuver through the defense. Jarl Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Axelsson having to interfere. Jens-Ove Löfdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Manfred Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nerd FC's goalkeeper Manfred Axelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Wilhelm Haglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ola Alebom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Fredriksson in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Nerd FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Roger Qvarnström hit a great ball.
