After 7 played minutes OY Drinks got a freekick which was hit by Simon Fagrell. After 8 played minutes, Bruket IF's Axel Boman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isac Nässén came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bruket IF reached it. Isac Nässén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Bo Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Sjöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Isac Nässén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Bruket IF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Sundin. Henry Enström shot a long shot in the 15th minute and a light blocked Egil Sjöman hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Egil Sjöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Åman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Nässén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mårten Alström in the 34th minute. Egil Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Bern, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Bergqvist in the 42nd minute of play forced OY Drinks's goalkeeper Isac Nässén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Karlstedt during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Bruket IF got a freekick which was hit by Birger Karlstedt. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Bern in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egil Sjöman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gösta Åman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruket IF's Egil Sjöman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Bruket IF from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Bo Bern got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Egil Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Fagrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gösta Åman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Sjöman having to interfere. Ingvar Kullander hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Simon Fagrell's late challenge caught a Bruket IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Fagrell helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice moves Anton Wallander could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Egil Sjöman however easily saved by the left post. Isac Nässén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gösta Åman fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OY Drinks's protests and gave Gösta Åman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bruket IF booed when OY Drinks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Åman didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 90th minute of the match Simon Fagrell completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Simon Fagrell a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Bruket IF booed when OY Drinks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emanuel Bergqvist came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Bruket IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, OY Drinks's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Bergqvist came free, but Isac Nässén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
