Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Nils Fredriksson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Nerd FC's zone, Jörgen Örnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Axelsson came out of the goal and Jörgen Örnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Jörgen Örnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södra Förorter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Örnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Walter Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Södra Förorter FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Benett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Nerd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Örnberg came free, but Manfred Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Örnberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Manfred Axelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Nerd FC's Per-Arne Dahlquist got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörgen Örnberg in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manfred Axelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kjell Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ola Håkansson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Manfred Axelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södra Förorter FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Benett in the 37th minute of play forced Nerd FC's goalkeeper Manfred Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Håkansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Axelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ola Håkansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jörgen Örnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Axelsson having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jörgen Örnberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Walter Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södra Förorter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Benett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Örnberg in the 58th minute of play forced Nerd FC's goalkeeper Manfred Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Södra Förorter FC's goalkeeper Folke Åhlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Fredriksson. Manfred Axelsson came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Södra Förorter FC's Walter Benett. But to his dismay, Walter Benett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ola Håkansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manfred Axelsson having to make a save. Ola Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Manfred Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Benett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Nerd FC's Nils Fredriksson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Folke Åhlberg. That made the score 1-1 after 70 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Nerd FC's Sverker Larsson got a free kick in the 74th minute. Nerd FC's Manfred Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Benett in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nerd FC's Conny Erserman got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 90 played minutes Nerd FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils Fredriksson. Södra Förorter FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
