Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jörgen Örnberg started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Södra Förorter FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kent Finman hit a great ball. Kent Finman kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Douglas Modig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nygård FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Modig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Södra Förorter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Finman to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Modig in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Åhlberg saved Södra Förorter FC from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Tor Blom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nygård FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Douglas Modig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Folke Åhlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Folke Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Modig in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Södra Förorter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Drake to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Modig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Folke Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Tor Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Folke Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Modig in the 28th minute of the match. Folke Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Harlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Jonatan Simonsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Södra Förorter FC's Folke Åhlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Folke Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Modig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Folke Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Harlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Modig in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Åhlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd match minute, Södra Förorter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Finman to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Douglas Modig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Douglas Modig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Douglas Modig came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Nygård FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Modig couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Södra Förorter FC booed when Nygård FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Simonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ömer Halisdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Örnberg in the 58th minute of play. Nygård FK's Tor Blom suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Nygård FK made a substitution. Bertil Bergman replaced Tor Blom. Kent Finman kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Douglas Modig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Folke Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Douglas Modig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Douglas Modig came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Nygård FK fans jumped to their feet. Bertil Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Modig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Folke Åhlberg made a huge save. Douglas Modig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Åhlberg having to interfere. Folke Åhlberg was a little too slow when Bertil Bergman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-5. Nygård FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
