In the 12th minute Jörgen Örnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Törnqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Patrik Falkrantz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Folke Åhlberg to make any attempt to save it. Patrik Falkrantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Christer Groth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Örnberg in the 43rd minute of the match. Björn Törnqvist struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Folke Åhlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Röda Djävlar FC.

After a defensive mix-up in Södra Förorter FC's zone, Patrik Falkrantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Åhlberg came out of the goal and Patrik Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Södra Förorter FC defense, Patrik Falkrantz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Åhlberg. The Södra Förorter FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Folke Åhlberg should have stopped the shot. 96 minutes into the game, Patrik Falkrantz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Folke Åhlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Röda Djävlar FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Södra Förorter FC for much of the match.
