Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dan Dahlquist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, FC Sacramento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Odén to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes FC Sacramento got a freekick which was hit by Claes Erserman. In the 9th minute, Dan Dahlquist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oskar Fors, passed just outside the right post. Alvesta's Dan Dahlquist got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boris Backman's late challenge caught a Alvesta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Backman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Boris Backman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Fors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Dusett in the 13th minute of the match. Boris Backman got his second yellow card in the match during the 14th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 14th minute, Boris Backman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Dan Dahlquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elof Viklund kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Tom Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Kjellbom in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dan Dahlquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskar Fors was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Malcolm Dusett might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oskar Fors. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malcolm Dusett ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Dahlquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Oskar Fors made a huge save. Oskar Fors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Flink in the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 51 minutes, Karl-Ove Flink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvesta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Ove Flink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Dahlquist scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oskar Fors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oskar Fors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Dahlquist in the 63rd minute of play. Oskar Fors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Dahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Fredriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Sacramento's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvesta the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Sacramento's Sven-Olof Fredriksson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Karl-Ove Flink took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oskar Fors. Oskar Fors dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Dahlquist in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oskar Fors saved FC Sacramento from getting behind. Malcolm Dusett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes of play FC Sacramento's Sven-Olof Fredriksson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A hard, long distance shot from Malcolm Dusett flew over the goal. Dan Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Alvesta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
