Thomas Stenqvists short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Torbjörn Månsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Thomas Stenqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Torbjörn Månsson however easily saved by the left post. In the 16th match minute, Team-A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Team-A's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joakim Forssberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Tanumshede FF's players had a chance to rest. Torbjörn Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thomas Stenqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torbjörn Månsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. David Walroth's late challenge caught a Tanumshede FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Walroth helped the player get up and apologised. Tanumshede FF made a substitution. Fred Sandberg replaced Håkan Lindgren. After 91 played minutes Team-A got a freekick which was hit by David Walroth. Fred Sandberg scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torbjörn Månsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tanumshede FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
