Robin Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Walroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingmar Melin, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Forssberg in the 46th minute of play forced FC Lila Hästen's goalkeeper Robin Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Thomas Stenqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Bäck in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, FC Lila Hästen's Sonny Jönsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joakim Forssberg ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Ludvig Ahlkvist in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tanumshede FF's Jerry Ekström. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sonny Jönsson in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Brun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sonny Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Sonny Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tanumshede FF's Herbert Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Bäck in the 86th minute of play. Herbert Brun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sonny Jönsson's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. FC Lila Hästen's Robin Arvidsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lila Hästen from getting a goal against them. Joakim Forssberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Robin Arvidsson made a huge save. FC Lila Hästen's Jim Bäck got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Lila Hästen support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
