Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sonny Jönsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, FC Lila Hästen's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Glanselius came free, but Robin Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute of the game Vilgot Frisk made a throw-in which Oskar Mårtensson played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Glanselius in the 16th minute of play forced FC Lila Hästen's goalkeeper Robin Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Klas Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Sonny Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lila Hästen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sonny Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Jönsson in the 36th minute of play forced Kiruna's goalkeeper Mikael Ekenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jim Bäck came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Lila Hästen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Bäck couldn't finish the play. Kiruna's Mikael Ekenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Jönsson in the 38th minute of play. Robin Arvidsson came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kiruna's Leo Lindström. But to his dismay, Leo Lindström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 53 minutes, Klas Glanselius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Kiruna's zone, Sonny Jönsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Ekenberg came out of the goal and Sonny Jönsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jim Bäck came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Lila Hästen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Bäck couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Mats Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Glanselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, FC Lila Hästen's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Lindström came free, but Robin Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Kiruna getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ingmar Nord hit a great ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC Lila Hästen were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Kiruna side.
